Hosted our inaugural market review session at a borrowed conference room. Fifteen attendees, two whiteboards, and a coffee maker that barely worked. We covered Q4 2018 earnings patterns and everyone stayed for an extra hour asking questions.
Pandemic pushed us online—turned out to be a breakthrough. Suddenly we had participants from Brandon, Thompson, even a few from Saskatchewan. Recorded sessions meant people could catch up on their schedule. Sometimes the best changes come from necessity.
Organized our first full-day investment summit at the RBC Convention Centre. Guest speakers, breakout sessions, networking lunch. A hundred and twenty people showed up. That's when we realized this community wanted more structured learning opportunities.
Started traveling to smaller Manitoba communities for focused workshops. Portfolio construction in Portage la Prairie, retirement planning in Steinbach. These sessions feel different—more personal, more questions about real situations people face.
